Directions & Maps
|
The team travels together to and from all meets on
buses (or vans driven by the coaches) – essential for building team spirit. The team bus leaves from
the flagpole entrance at Pioneer unless there is a Michigan home football game. If there is a Michigan
game, the team bus leaves from Lawton School on South 7th Street. Parents cannot drive athletes
to or from meets. However, under extenuating circumstances (for example, a family driving directly to a
wedding immediately after the meet), prior permission may be granted by the athletic department, where a form must be filed.) Parents are encouraged to attend all meets, but must arrange their own
transportation. Use these "team" directions, NOT the ones found on the Pioneer Athletics site - some
are actually directions to high schools and not necessarily their cross country course locations! Course maps may not be exact - changes may be
necessary due to natural causes or for safety.
